Here is a brief summary about EIC. Simply, what you should keep in mind and what you should do during the competition.
7 step summary:
1. Register your team at the EIC homepage (deadline 1 Mars)
2. Chose a case that you would like to work on. This isn’t something you have to register. You can switch case whenever you want.
3. Come up with a business idea for your chosen case. “In what way can I apply this new technology on a product/service?” (Think creative!)
4. Write an Innovation plan about your idea (deadline 22 Mars). How it should be written can be found here.
5. Submit your entry by uploading it here (pdf) on the web page.
6. Wait for an respond if you’ve made it to the finals. If yes, then you’ll get an invitation to the finals and there your team will pitch your idea in front of a jury. Before the finals, a pitching exercise will be held so that your team can practice on some pitching techniques.
7. If you have an awsome business idea and are fierce on pithcing – then you my friend have just won 25 000 SEK, a spot in the Student Inc. and tickets to Start-up day (SSES).
